The Murder Mystery Evening is one of our most popular events. Highly entertaining for all involved, as the night unfolds, can you discover which of your party is the murderer?

At the Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception, the guests are welcomed by our 'Host' for the evening (one of the Actors) and each guest receives an envelope with all the details of their "Character" along with a lapel name sticker. One of them will know immediately that they are the murderer and must not reveal this fact until later in the evening! At this point, apart from the Murderer, all other participants do not know if they have an important role to play until later in the evening. All guests MUST assume their character and are addressed by their character name.

(Note: If the guests are staying in the hotel, the envelopes can be placed in their rooms prior to their arrival at the Drinks Reception.)

The Host for the evening will mingle with the characters; this interaction lasts for approximately thirty minutes. The Murder takes place and the Detectives enter (2 of our Actors).

The "body" is taped and photographed and at this stage the guests are then ushered into the dining room and told not to leave the building - everyone is under suspicion!! ?

During Dinner and in between courses, (at no time interrupting the waiting on staff) the personalities are introduced. The Victim's fact file and the Quiz sheets are handed out to the guests. Items which have been found on the body and other items of evidence are introduced and available for inspection. With the aid of the Quiz sheets, the guests deduce the names of the main suspects. Some of the guests are encouraged to perform their character roles i.e. the Cabaret Singer and the Comedian. At the same time, at least one of the Actors will perform Close-Up Magic to amuse the guests at their dining tables. ?
The Detectives will mix and mingle encouraging the guests to determine who the Suspects are and to scrutinise the evidence etc. for clues. ?

While coffee is being served, the answers to the quiz are given and eight final suspects are brought onto the stage, where they are interrogated by the guests. The Chief Inspector interviews the suspects and reveals eight different motives for the murder. The guests are given a little time to try to establish who the Murderer is and why they did it! ?
Finally, guests make their final analysis … then… The murderer is revealed in a final dramatic scene!!! The quiz sheets are assessed to find the winner/s and an Oscar Award is given to the best Actor.
